The Inspection Report

Upon completion of the inspection, your inspector will give you a verbal summary of what was discovered and an opportunity to ask questions. We will also show you where to turn off the electricity and water, if you should ever have to. We will go over areas of the home that require on-going attention, such as the cleaning of dryer vents and changing of air filters.

A detailed, computerized report will be generated. This report will include details on all the components that were tested and will describe the electrical, plumbing, structure, roofing, landscaping, heating and air conditioning systems as well as any interior concerns. Your report will include high quality, digital photographs and video of areas that may be of concern and to show the general condition of the home. The detailed report can be emailed, faxed or delivered to you, usually the same day.

Your report also contains a cd with all of the digital photos and video that were taken of the home. All rooms and major systems are photographed. This cd can serve as a reference to what your home looked like when you first bought it. Handy for insurance purposes too.

All of the installed appliances are recorded in your report. (if accessible) Brand names, model numbers and serial numbers are archived for your reference. We check with the CPSC's web site to see if any of the installed appliances have safety recall notices. Also included on your cd is a great Home Care Guide. You can download a copy of the Home Care Guide here. (file size is 841k)
